I. the output of industrial robots increased by 40% annually
 
According to the data of the international robot alliance, since 2013, China has become the worlds largest industrial robot application market for six consecutive years (the annual sales volume ranks first in the world for six consecutive years, and the installed capacity now accounts for 36% of the global market), and has become the main force to promote the steady development of the global robot industry. Through the traction of the market, domestic industrial robots have developed rapidly. Such fields as automobile industry, electronic industry and machining have been widely used, and domestic robots have made great progress.
 
The development of robots is more and more closely combined with the actual application of domestic robots in Chinas manufacturing industry, which needs to be more and more closely combined with the specific characteristics of domestic robots. In this industry, the development of robots and other special-purpose robots is not needed.


II. Chinas robot industry has great development potential
 
There is still a certain gap between the overall level of industrial robots in China and that in the world. Some industrial robots in the world have been ahead of us for 20 or 30 years, and the technology is quite mature. In some sophisticated fields, such as laser welding, which requires high precision and high stability for automobiles, it is mainly foreign robots that occupy the market.
 
In addition, at present, many key parts still rely on foreign imports, such as some motors or reducers. There is a huge gap in the demand and supply of Chinas robot market, and there is a huge market space in the future, which will provide a strong driving force for China to concentrate resources and develop domestic robot industry.


III. there is a gap of 10 million senior technicians in China
 
As the basic supporting equipment of intelligent manufacturing, robot is known as "the Pearl at the top of the crown of manufacturing industry", which is an important symbol of the development level of manufacturing industry. At present, there are still some shortcomings in the development of Chinas robot industry. An important reason behind this is the shortage of highly skilled talents.
 
Data show that there are 770 million employed people in China, while there are only 165 million skilled workers, of which only more than 47 million are highly skilled. In other words, skilled workers generally account for 20% of the employed, while highly skilled talents account for only 6%.
 
In May this year, the action plan for vocational skills improvement (2019-2021) issued by the State Council Office also mentioned that the shortage of highly skilled talents has become a major bottleneck in Chinas industrial transformation and upgrading. From the perspective of market supply and demand, in recent years, the recruitment rate of skilled workers (i.e. the ratio of job demand to job seekers) has been more than 1.5, the recruitment rate of senior technicians has reached more than 2, and the gap of senior technicians in China has reached 10 million.
