Over the years, due to the digital transformation, how will technology change?

As Accenture said in the 20th edition of techvision2020, the development speed of technology is changing over the years. The report, released earlier this year, is based on two decades of research and is supported by technology trends and their evolution over time. In order to be consistent with competition, enterprises must adopt technologies related to their existing portfolio.

According to the report, artificial intelligence and robotics will become key technology trends to redefine business terms in the next three years. For enterprises, the top priority is to respond to the call, rebuild the business and technology model from scratch, and take coordinating the expectations of stakeholders as a priority.

The professional services multinational added that as technology is applied more than ever before, organizations attempts to meet their needs and expectations may fall short of their goals. Covid-19 has opened the door to the new adaptability between large flow behavior enterprises, which requires a new way of thinking and roadmap to succeed.

Techvision covered a study of 6000 it and business executives worldwide. Techvision also presented the views of 100 Irish executives and directors to discuss the impact of technological change. The study found that 83% of Irish business leaders recognized that disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence and robots have become an integral part of improving the human experience. In addition, Accenture also surveyed 2000 consumers from around the world, of which 70% foresee that their relationship with technology will be significantly enhanced in the next three years.

David Kirwan, technical director of Accenture (Ireland), said that enterprises must adjust to meet the changing needs of customers. "Covid-19 is the biggest challenge facing the world in decades. It has changed peoples lives on an unprecedented scale and affected the development and innovation aspirations of every industry and partner enterprises. Companies need to innovate, invent and redefine faster than ever before," he said

As enterprises face new challenges around the world, the report adds that in addition to automation, enterprises need to move forward and brainstorm the use cases of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. The report concluded that Irish executives are cautious about technology, with 50% saying they will embrace robotics and automation, and their employees will face the challenge of how to adapt to robots as their work assistants; Another 50% said their employees would find it easier to use robots and automation technology.

With the increase of coronavirus cases, more and more people around the world stay at home, and social distance has become a new normal. The report believes that every enterprise must rethink its future from the perspective of robotics to ensure the business continuity (BCP) framework during the pandemic.
